This page explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect from visitors and students of Full Stack World, what we do with it, and your rights. We operate from Visakhapatnam, India and follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Who we are
Full Stack World is a developer training school based in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. Address: First Floor, 9-39-3, Near Sai Baba Temple, Pithapuram Colony, Maddilapalem, Visakhapatnam 530003. Contact: hi@fullstackworld.co.in.
2. What we collect
- Lead forms (Apply, Book a call, Workshop signup, Contact): your name, phone number, optional email, course of interest, and the message you type. We also store the page you submitted from and a timestamp.
- Enrolled students: in addition to lead-form data, we keep attendance records, capstone repository URLs, and term-payment receipts for the duration of your course plus 24 months thereafter for legal/tax purposes.
- Analytics: aggregate page-view counts (visitor-IP-anonymised) via a privacy-first analytics provider. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or behavioural ad pixels.
- Cookies: only those strictly required to run the site (session, CSRF). No marketing or tracking cookies.
3. Why we collect it
- To respond to enquiries and counselling-call requests.
- To run your cohort and maintain attendance / capstone records.
- To send you the workshop link, batch start emails, and term-payment reminders.
- To comply with Indian tax + GST requirements on paid enrolments.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.
We share data only with the following service providers, strictly for the purposes above:
- Email delivery (transactional, e.g. workshop links).
- Hosting (the company that operates the servers serving this site).
- Payment processor when you pay a deposit or term fee.
- Tax authorities as required by Indian law (GST returns, etc.).
5. How long we keep it
Lead-form submissions are kept indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them. Enrolled-student records are kept for the duration of your course + 24 months, then anonymised. Tax-relevant invoices are kept for 8 years per the Income-Tax Act.
6. Your rights
- You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- You can ask us to correct anything that’s wrong.
- You can ask us to delete your data (subject to the tax-record exception above).
- You can opt out of marketing emails at any time (we send very few anyway).
To exercise any of these, email hi@fullstackworld.co.inwith “Privacy request” in the subject. We’ll respond within 30 days.
7. Security
All form submissions travel over HTTPS. Stored personal data is protected by access controls and never stored in plain-text databases. We do not store full payment card information — that’s handled directly by the payment processor.
8. Children
Our courses are for learners aged 16 and above. If you’re under 18 you need a parent or guardian’s consent to enrol; please disclose your age on the counselling call.
9. Updates to this policy
If we change anything material, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top and post a notice on the homepage for at least 14 days.
